It was amazing, the roads are like a never ending race track
Just got back from a long weekend , and it was amazing, the roads are like a never ending race track , smooth tarmac awesome scenery brilliant corners but what makes it even better is Carlos! he is ace! so relaxed and funny and leads you and guides you so you don't have to think about where to go or where to eat etc.
Javea is really nice too with nice bars and restaurants Carl cant do enough for you and makes you feel at home straight away in his beautiful house. loved every minute of our trip and cant wait to go back. missing you already Carlos

Highly highly recommended, just got back from 3 days away with Carl at Spanish fly ride. The roads , scenery and attitude to biking is as good as it gets . Your in a beautiful location which caters for all your needs and Javea is amazing on an evening. What makes the trip is Carl's knowledge of not only the roads but also the social aspect and his relaxing personality. whatever your riding experience and ability your in safe hands given Carl has spent years seeking out the best routes . We are now just counting down the days to go again....
A fantastic holiday

Just finished a week long holiday with Carl and Dessi, and it has been the best trip of my life. Stunning roads, awesome weather, great food, and Carl is a top notch host. Even when we weren't on the bikes he still had loads of fantastic recommendations for stuff to do in the surrounding area, and kept us well entertained. Anyone with a bike license needs to book this incredible experience! Can't recommend it enough!
I'm so glad we decided to try a "Fly Ride", it was just so easy
It's been a week now since I left Carl in Spain and returned home...I'm still buzzing....what a great holiday it was.
I've ridden in Spain for the last 7 years, always taking the traditional route via the ferry at Portsmouth and always doing it in May to get the best out of the weather. However, this was sooooo much easier!
A mate and I jumped on a cheap flight to Alicante and were met at the airport by Carl, our host, with cold beer, a nice touch! He took us to his villa, a beautiful place with a pool and a fridge stocked with, you guessed it, beer! We were looked after by Carl, he's a great bloke and really put a lot of thought into making our stay enjoyable and comfortable. He made us breakfast, lovely evening meals and kept the beer flowing! We also met his better half, the beautiful Dessi, who also made us feel part of the family. They took us to local bars and events which made the evenings a real blast, also allowed us to avoid using our rubbish Spanish language skills!
The weather was great, sunny and as warm as 26 degrees, just a jumper needed in the evening, and this is in March, so now worries about doing this again in the "colder" months, as it was perfect riding conditions.
We had a selection of bikes to ride, all in excellent, well maintained order and spot on for the amazing twisty roads. Carl led our daily ride outs, at a good pace too, he's a competent and quick rider but I'm sure he can ease up if necessary for novices! We found ourselves on amazing roads within minutes of leaving the villa, and every day spent as long as we like having two wheeled exploits.
I'm so glad we decided to try a "Fly Ride", it was just so easy, relaxing and probably the best biking trip I've done in the last 30 years!!

This trip is as near to perfect as youâre going to get.
Iâve done Northern Spain on my own bike 7 or 8 times but flying / using someone elseâs machine just takes the hassle and stress out of it. No big trip getting there. No route planning. No accommodation planning. Not even any stress ordering food from a menu you canât read every night â itâs provided in the price!
Carl and Dessi look after your every need, make you feel totally at home and one of their mates. With amazing empty roads in great condition and stunning views; this trip is as near to perfect as youâre going to get!
Iâve just returned from a fantastic 7 day trip with a mate and Iâll be going again!
For those that like every detail â The bikes are well maintained and look/ride like new. The smaller bikes are actually more fun on the mountain roads as you can flick them about and theyâre more than capable of dealing with the long sweepy sections too. Carl is a good rider (and Iâve ridden with a few!). You can go at whatever pace youâre comfortable with and without going daft.
The Villa is nice and clean, with some lovely views and a large pool if you fancy a dip or just a lazy day.
The weather was great. Ignore the headline temperatures! Thatâs taken in the shade and you are in the sun permanently. Iâll go again even earlier in Winter â at times it was too hot in early March!

Would definitely recommend
Went on this for a long weekend of riding to get away from the rubbish weather of England and it was brilliant, sun was out every day touching the 20 degree mark, (in February) perfect for riding, Our host Carl was very welcoming and took us round some awesome roads and to see some amazing views, would definitely recommend
Brilliant roads and spectacular views to be had
Just spent a four day long break in a group of four, enjoyed every minute of it too, lovely clean villa with a great place to chill outside and catch some rays. choice of bikes is diverse to say the least going from multistrada to vfr with a few more in between, brilliant roads and spectacular views to be had. Carl's a great host too knows some epic routes and where all the best coffee stops are too. even for February it was on the verge of the 20°c mark, could easily do it all again.
Amazing villa and amazing roads
Had an awesome trip with the lads..amazing villa and amazing roads đ this place is a riders paradise if you haven't been on this trip you need to be asking yourself why n when your booking it lol Massive thanks to Carl for making it such an enjoyable tour I would 100% go back again..and the weather for February was biblical
An amazing week at spanish fly ride, absolutely fantastic
Had an amazing week at spanish fly ride, absolutely fantastic, missing it already, Carl is an amazing host with fabulous hospitality. Dessi is also a lovely woman and together they make a fantastic couple, laugh a minute.
The riding was fab with amazing roads and amazing scenery, the weather was perfect too, wasn't too hot, but wasn't too cold, perfect riding weather. I would defo reccomend to anyone. The riding isn't slow, although it isn't too fast either. At multiple time Carl would slow down so we could take it the amazing views.
All in all it was a fabulous week and I will definatly be rebooking for later this year. Thanks guys for an amazing week, it certainly was one to remember đ
A fab week with Spanish Fly Ride
Had a fab week with spanish fly ride,our guide Carl done a great job looking after us and guiding us to some brilliant bike routes, the bikes are more than adiquate for the runs.The villa was great as was the food and drink that went with it.Carl an his girlfriend took us to a brilliant party one night we nearly stayed in and watch laurel and hardy instead, just call it a near miss.Bottom line is a great time riding with fantastic views and great host,Dessie (sorry if I spelt it wrong) was fantastic also in making us welcome can only say she was amaaaaaazing.lol.
Late winter bike ride
Decided to have a last wee blast on a bike before the Scottish winter shutdown. Had been corresponding with Carl for a while for next year but thought why not take a trip to alicante for some winter sun now.
Travelled over last week with 2 others and were treated to some cracking roads. Weather was a little nippy but that was unusual for time of year. Still had 4 great sunny days. Carl led all the routes and stopped at some great little cafe bars during the days just to soak up the atmosphere. You will not be disappointed with the roads, views or scenery.
The bikes are well maintained, good tyres and allow you to mix and match. Each bike has different characteristics and all fun to drive.
Rooms are air conditioned and it's 2 sharing each room one has bunk beds which you should know. Plenty videos, music and Netflix.
I recommend getting a hire car from alicante airport it just gives you a bit freedom to visit different places at night. Or even daytime if you're not riding. I use doyouspain.com best option is select car on airport with a full/full petrol policy use drop down select boxes on website.
We arrived to a great tortilla and a beer and the hospitality got better from there. All breakfasts and meals included and we had some great food every night. No restriction on beer, vodka, gin etc and you could snack whenever. Carl is a great host and we had the pleasure of spending a few nights with his girlfriend Desire (with an accent on the e of course) she also cooked some great food. Cannot fault their hospitality.
Admittedly it's a bit strange sharing Carl's house but he doesn't interfere with your own time and is always attentive. We didnt get a lot of time by the the pool due to time of year but decided on one of the days to just ride 4hrs and spend a bit time chilling by the pool with some beers. November pool beer and sun cannae beat it.
Only a slight and very picky point is the location. It's 25min walk to local pub and it's a big hill to walk back. But as i said earlier if you have a car then nominate a driver and/or go see the different bars in Javea and Denia.
All in all an excellent trip and excellent hosts providing a trip at a price that no other provider can match.
Spanish fly ride is amazing value for money.
Our group of 4 arrived late Sunday and was greeted with a warm welcome by Carl at his villa. We had a great choice of bikes at our disposal and all were in great mechanical order - as a bike mechanic I can vouch for this. Carl looked after us, on the road especially, always giving advice about road conditions, and how to ride like the locals do! We had great fun, the food was first class and the villa had everything you could ask for. Thanks to Carl and Desi for a wonderful time.

Had a fantastic time with Carl. I would thoroughly recommend this trip to anyone looking for a different type of bike holiday. Great roads and scenery, well adapted bikes and a fun week all round.
The house is comfortable with everything you need and Carl makes you feel at home from day 1. We arrived on a late flight and were welcomed with a BBQ and beer on his terrace. The next morning we were greeted with breakfast and then get straight on the bikes to explore the countryside.
Carl really knows the roads well and although we all came away from the week having learnt something new about riding on a different type of road we always felt comfortable. Carl has a knack of gauging your riding level and adapts to your pace very quickly to let you get the most out of the bikes and the roads. The countryside is great and the roads are even better, nice tight corners than open up into nice sweeping bends up and down the mountains.
The bikes are very well maintained and perfectly suited to the roads in his area. All of the bikes have their own strengths here but most people gravitate towards one or two favourites by the end of the week, so much so that Iâm on the lookout for my favourite to pop up on eBay or Autotrader.
The food was really good, Carl made some fantastic traditional and comfort foods to fill us up at the end of the day, a special highlight was the paella valenciana we enjoyed with great company and a sea view after a dip in the pool.

Absolutely amazing time
Weâve just returned from a trip with Spanish Fly Ride. Absolutely amazing time; I had no idea just how brilliant the roads and scenery are in Spain. Carl knows the routes like the back of his hand and took us to idyllic Spanish locations. The âtwistiesâ are fantastic, I think my ability to corner has vastly improved after a week with Carl. His bikes are immaculate and are well maintained. They are also the ideal models for the Spanish roads. The villa, hospitality and food are beyond compare. After a long day on the road a dip in the pool is followed by a hearty meal: bliss! Donât hesitate to book a break with this Guy... itâs an incredible price and youâll not top this experience! Russ.

We have just returned from a fortnight's stay with spanishflyride.co.uk. We had been to Spain many times before (in hotels) so we knew what to expect, weather wise. What we hadn't bargained for was the extra fun we had, this time. The rides, the scenery, and the roads were stunning and (of course) the weather was amazing. Carl was guided by us, so we were able to ride as much or as little as we wanted. He showed us some amazing places, where we experienced the real Spain. We sampled the local cuisine, under Carl's experienced guidance, and found that to be fabulous. The bikes were faultless, and prepared to a high standard... we only went on three of the bikes that were available, but enjoyed them immensely. The villa was excellent... clean, comfortable, really well equipped, and the swimming pool was a lovely place to relax after a ride. Carl introduced us to his friends at his local bar, which was lovely, so we immediately felt a part of his extended family. We thoroughly recommend this trip, and we are already planning our next.
Best holiday ever!
For all of my friends who love biking I really recommend this holiday! The winter months are better as it's too hot in summer. So when you've put your bikes away for the winter get yourself to Spain with Spanish Fly Ride. My mate and myself have had the best holiday ever!
